Wilder World Announces FPS Mode Launch at Gamescom 2025 with $100K Samsung-Backed Tournament

Wilder World has unveiled its first-person shooter (FPS) mode in Super Early Access, set to debut at Gamescom 2025. The launch, backed by Samsung, includes a global tournament featuring a $100,000 prize pool. This marks the second playable experience in the Wilder ecosystem after Wilder Wheels, further expanding the Wiami metaverse.

The FPS gameplay will premiere on August 20 at Gamescom, followed by an open competitive circuit. Qualifiers run from August 25 to September 9, with playoffs September 10-15 and a live final on September 24. Top players will receive all-expenses-paid trips to the undisclosed final location.

Attendees can collect Samsung-branded POAP NFTs via on-site NFC towers, usable within Wilder World's metaverse. The announcement coincides with growing momentum for Wilder World and its WILD token, following recent collaborations.
